Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Screen employees, visitors, and/or deliveries at designated entry points by checking identification, monitoring access, and reporting unauthorized or unusual activity. Operate and monitor screening-related equipment and follow post instructions for prohibited items, visitor processing, and incident documentation. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts, the public, and/or first responders as appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry areas and nearby perimeter locations to help support security-related operations and report concerns. Minimum Requirements: 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree, is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Must be 21+ years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. X-Ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
