Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.53 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Screen passengers, visitors, employees, and/or personal property in accordance with post orders and approved screening protocols. Monitor entry points and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited items. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting activity and communicating with supervisors and/or public officials as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions that may vary by site. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree. Be 21+ years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
