ABOUT THE ROLE

As Security Operations Manager, you will oversee our Security Operations Centre (SOC), Application Security, and Security Engineering functions. This is a collaborative and high-impact role where you will shape how we manage risk, respond to threats, and maintain compliance with standards such as ISO27001, ISO22301, and SOC2.
You will also lead and support team members, provide hands-on guidance, and collaborate across the business to continually improve our security posture.

️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Security Operations Centre and engineering teams.
  • Manage performance and development for team members (1-1s, reviews, coaching).
  • Develop and maintain security policies aligned with ISO27001 and SOC2.
  • Lead risk assessments and technical reviews related to new features or platform changes.
  • Collaborate on access management, privacy, and data protection strategy.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to improve incident readiness and reporting.
  • Review and act on security alerts in collaboration with the incident response specialist.
  • Provide technical input for RFI processes with prospective clients.
  • Report on security metrics, trends, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Partner with vendors to manage tooling and assess service levels.
  • Promote a culture of learning, quality, and clear communication.
