Position summary: JMT is seeking a Security Operations Manager to be responsible for planning, directing, and managing security operations across utility facilities, critical infrastructure, and operational environments. This role ensures the protection of personnel, assets, and systems through implementation of physical security programs, regulatory compliance, risk mitigation strategies, and emergency response coordination. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Maintain excellent relationships with clients, building occupants, architects/engineers, contractors, regulatory agencies and law enforcement. * Lead and coordinate security personnel, contractors, and cross-functional teams supporting infrastructure protection. * Develop, implement, and manage physical security programs for utility assets (generation, transmission, substations, facilities) * Conduct vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and compliance inspections to identify and mitigate threats * Oversee access control systems (ACS), intrusion detection systems (IDS), and surveillance operations * Manage incident response, reporting, and corrective action tracking, ensuring timely resolution and documentation * Coordinate and lead emergency preparedness programs, including COOP, ATFP, and crisis response exercises * Ensure compliance with NERC CIP, DHS, DoD (as applicable), and corporate security standards * Develop and deliver security training programs for personnel and stakeholders * Prepare executive-level briefings, reports, and metrics on security posture and operational readiness * Support capital improvement and infrastructure projects by integrating security requirements into planning and execution * Perform other duties as required to support organizational security and operational objectives * Manage project schedules of assigned projects from inception to close out * Run project job-site meetings * Review contractor work in place to ensure compliance with plans and specifications * Review and approval of contractor monthly requisitions and invoices * Efficient change order management and cost control * Report on project issues and provide status updates * Perform other duties as may be required
