We are seeking a Security Operations Supervisor for key client sites in Richardson, TX. This leadership role is critical in ensuring top-tier service delivery through effective project planning, strong client relations, and team development. The Security Operations Supervisor will oversee daily operations and project coordination to meet our commitments, working closely with the client to understand and deliver on expectations. In this role, you will support the team, ensuring staff are well-trained, motivated, and aligned with our operational goals. You will be responsible for managing resources efficiently and ensuring compliance with both company standards and client requirements. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel, including guards and security operators. Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal security at all times. Conduct regular briefings and training for security staff on emergency procedures, safety protocols, and incident response. Access Control & Facility Security: Oversee the implementation of access control measures to secure facilities and restricted areas. Monitor the use of security equipment, including CCTV systems, badging systems, alarms, metal detectors, and access control systems. Conduct regular security audits and inspections to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. Incident Management & Response: Respond promptly to incidents, such as security breaches, thefts, or emergencies, and coordinate appropriate actions. Conduct initial investigations into incidents and prepare detailed reports for senior management. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed. Policy & Compliance Enforcement: Ensure all security protocols and procedures are followed by security personnel. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local laws. Regularly review and update security policies and procedures to reflect best practices and emerging threats. Communication & Reporting: Serve as a liaison between security staff and senior management, communicating key issues and developments. Prepare and present reports on security incidents, key performance metrics, and trends to senior leadership. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding ongoing incidents and security concerns. Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify physical security vulnerabilities and threats. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks and enhance safety measures. Coordinate and participate in emergency drills and safety training sessions. Other responsibilities: Manage daily Security Officer operational staffing requirements and administrative functions, meeting business goals and objectives for assigned locations. Consistently communicates with clarity and professionalism when interacting with executive leadership, clients, and other high-profile stakeholders, ensuring alignment and trust. Conduct quality assurance inspections, monitor, and manage the Security Officers at the assigned client sites. Ensure subordinate supervisors understand and deliver orders, ensure sufficient resources are available to support and/or establish posts in a timely fashion, and are appropriately filled according to contract requirements and post orders. Oversee the training and operational employment of Security Officers Ensure the highest standards of conduct, appearance, performance, and training are being always met. Keep the team apprised of contract performance by accurately communicating the status of compliance and identifying any deficiencies in a timely manner. Qualifications & Experience: Associate’s Degree and 3 years of responsible experience in the security industry and/or business management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Experience in scheduling, operations, or other functions of the security industry is required. Law Enforcement and/or Military is a plus. Current state driver’s license, clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years), and ability to safely operate a Company vehicle required. Energetic and focused personality with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines. Demonstration of strong customer service orientation required, with the ability to effectively resolve client issues in a professional and service‐focused manner and to de‐escalate situations before they become hostile or unpleasant required. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are required including the ability to write effective and concise reports in neat, legible handwriting. Must have a high level of technological acumen or mastery of Microsoft Office software, Salesforce, HRIS Platforms, and other web-based management platforms. Professional, articulate; and able to use good independent judgment and discretion. Ability to effectively enforce post orders, security standards, and company policies equitably and consistently. Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff. Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player required.
