Position Type: Full Time / Graveyard Shift Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:30 PM - 07:00 AMThur10:30 PM - 07:00 AMFri10:30 PM - 07:00 AMSat10:30 PM - 07:00 AMSun10:30 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to property guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, amenity spaces, and/or community grounds while assisting with visitor inquiries, resident concerns, and policy-related issues. Document daily activities, unusual occurrences, and/or maintenance or security-related issues, and communicate relevant information to property management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Access control and badge experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
