Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time / Late Evening Shift Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:00 PM - 03:30 AMFri07:00 PM - 03:30 AMSat07:00 PM - 03:30 AMSun07:00 PM - 03:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, community policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, amenities, and/or property areas in support of community rules, helping to address disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations with professionalism and courtesy. Communicate with property management, residents, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, maintenance-related concerns, and/or other security-related matters at the location. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
