Job Description As a Security Professional - Aero/Defense Armed Guard Card in Marietta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as a security-related professional in an exciting aero and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter incidents and maintain a secure environment. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to carry out your responsibilities with professionalism and integrity. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter unwanted activity, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.24 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:45 PM - 10:00 PMFri01:45 PM - 10:00 PMSat01:45 PM - 10:00 PMSun01:45 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Possess a minimum of three years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree. An armed guard card or license is required. Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
