As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, conducting regular patrols, and supporting access management procedures. You will use technology such as computers or tablets to assist in your duties while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.07 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat10:00 AM - 10:00 PMSun10:00 AM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Assist with access control procedures for personnel and vehicles entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity. Document and report any unusual observations or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols. Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures or Allied Universal management. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
