As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to those you encounter. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences. Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary, following established protocols. Remain alert and attentive while on duty to help to deter potential security-related incidents. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
