As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 05:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, drivers, and staff with inquiries related to access control and site procedures. Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to company and client requirements. Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific actions. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
