What You'll Do: Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies relevant to transportation locations. Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following guidance and protocols. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the transportation property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Observe and report any suspicious activity or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as required. Support access control measures by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas within the transportation environment. Maintain thorough and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences. Assist passengers, visitors, and staff with directions and information as needed while maintaining a visible presence. Minimum Requirements: A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
