As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat01:00 PM - 05:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 05:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a welcoming environment. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and concerns according to Allied Universal protocols. Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local authorities as required to address incidents and/or emergencies. Support a secure environment by remaining alert to unusual activities or conditions and reporting them promptly. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
