What You'll Do: Provide excellent customer service to clients and the public by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for transportation locations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor for suspicious behavior or activity around transportation areas, reporting any concerns to Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as directed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide assistance to individuals as needed. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, employees, and/or the public to address questions, provide directions, and offer general security-related support. Document incidents and security-related activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and client site policies. Minimum Requirements: A valid New York State Security Guard License is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
