KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Identify new technology to deliver shrinkage and risk reduction.
  • Manage the budget for the third-party security suppliers.
  • Ensure that all third-party SLA’s are achieved.
  • Manage all security related tenders within the agreed timescales and present to the

IC.

  • Work closely with the Senior Security Manager and the retail Security Team to

identify current issues and risks while providing solutions through technology and

services.

  • Analyse the outputs of the associated incident reporting by identifying emerging

areas of risk, to support the Head of Security in developing solutions to mitigate

future risks.

  • Represent the Security department at all relevant meetings.
  • Form appropriate working relationships with Regional and Head Office support

functions

  • Support the Head Of Security with delivering the Security P&L within budget.

Person Specification
You would ideally have a proven track record at a similar senior level in your current
organisation or have at least 5 years practical experience in project management and/or
contract negotiations.
Ideally you should be experienced in tender processes and conducting, preparing and
presenting for investment committees.
Have knowledge of current security methodology and practices relating to burglary, asset
tagging, CCTV systems, Intruder Alarms and manned guarding preferred but not essential.
You should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational, communication and influencing
skills at a senior level with a good attention to detail.
In addition to this the candidate will need to be self-motivated and a good team player.
As this is role that supports a national team you may be required to stay away occasionally.
A full UK driving licence is essential
