REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and reporting software.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms, log analysis tools, and security monitoring technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, incident response, and threat analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting technical information clearly.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for data automation and analysis.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Security Reporting Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. The Security Reporting Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on security data to support informed decision-making and enhance the organization’s security posture. This role requires strong data analysis skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present complex information clearly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret security-related data from various sources, including SIEM tools, threat intelligence platforms, and incident management systems.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics to provide insights into security operations, incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance status.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc security reports for stakeholders, highlighting trends, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with SOC analysts, threat intelligence teams, and IT departments to ensure accurate and comprehensive data collection.
  • Support incident response activities by providing data analysis and reporting on security events.
  • Identify gaps in security monitoring and reporting processes and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements through accurate and timely reporting.
  • Automate data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
  • Stay updated with emerging security threats, industry trends, and best practices in security reporting.
