S AFETY OFFICER

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Safety Officer who share s a passion for excellence and who infuse s enthusiasm into everything they do. Our S afety Officer s have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge o f the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required .

Responsibilities
  • Perform dispatching duties within the Security office to include report writing, key distribution, and daily shift log, answering telephone calls, monitoring the Simplex fire alarm system and viewing the closed-circuit television monitors.
  • Assist in providing a safe environment for all persons entering the property.
  • Emphasize prevention of incidents or accidents on property
  • Document all incidents that are reported to Security.
  • Patrol the property on foot , locking and unlocking restricted or back of house areas and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Respond to locked out guest calls or employee key entries into secure buildings or the storeroom after purchasing hours. Repair malfunctioning door locks and in room safes. Respond to Noise or smoking complaints.
  • Respond, remain calm and address disturbances, medical situations, crimes and threats to life and property , whether with employees, guests, visitors.
  • Collect, log and distribute lost and found left by guests or visitors on the property. Perform bag checks of employees leaving property.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, go up and down steps and lift 50 pounds.
