We’re now looking for an experienced and fully qualified Security Service Engineer to join our established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer seeking a varied and rewarding role with long-term career potential.
Role Responsibilities
As a Security Service Engineer, you will:
· Independently install, service, maintain, and repair:
- Access control systems
- CCTV systems (IP and analogue)
- Automatic doors, gates, and barriers
· Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
· Interpret and work from technical drawings and system documentation
· Liaise directly with clients and deliver high standards of customer service
· Ensure all work meets health & safety and quality standards
· Accurately complete job reports and maintain service records
Requirements
Essential:
· Proven experience in security systems service and maintenance
· Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
· Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
· Full UK driving licence
· Valid right to work in the UK
Desirable:
· Industry-recognised qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ, FIA, SSAIB, etc.)
· Experience with Salto, Paxton, Hikvision, Videx, FAAC, BPT, etc.
· Knowledge of relevant British Standards (e.g., BS EN 16005, BS 7671)
