WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role as Security Systems Engineer, you will provide guidance and assist the EMEA based CGEM account teams in building relationships with the local customers as well as building solutions to address specific customer security needs.
You will also liaise with the APJC based GSSO team who look after the headquarters of the accounts.
In addition, you will be working with technology experts in both APJC and EMEA to help the local account team position Cisco’s security solutions effectively against competing offerings.

Responsibilities

We have an exciting role open in our Global Security Sales Organization for a commercially aware Security Systems Engineer supporting inbound CGEM accounts in EMEA! You will be a highly motivated, entrepreneurial-minded sales professional who has a passion for delivering world-class technology and services that protect our customers from the network to the endpoint to the Cloud.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in Cisco Security Solutions
  • Be the SE support in the EMEA for APJC headquartered CGEM accounts
  • Provide guidance and assist the account teams in building solutions to address specific customer security needs
  • Work with technology experts to help them position Cisco’s security solutions effectively against competing offerings.
  • Provide specific solution/technology/product consulting, technical and sales support for major account opportunities
  • Understand business requirements for customer base and be able to translate them into technical requirements
  • Understand and articulate Cisco’s architectures and services within Security technologies
  • Create, present and document technical solutions
  • Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects
  • Carry out POVs
  • Drive identified major account opportunities (i.e. - technical consulting, upper-level management presentations, and Cisco technology solutions
