Description Position Overview: The Site Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and controlled access of a large-scale construction project site. Officers will perform access control, patrols, inspections, and enforcement of site security procedures in accordance with client requirements, site policies, and applicable regulations. Positions are available for both armed and unarmed officers, depending on assignment and qualifications. Key Responsibilities: · Provide continuous security coverage for an active construction site on a 24/7 basis. · Control access to the project site by verifying contractor-issued badges and government-issued photo identification. · Maintain accurate sign-in and sign-out logs, including badge or ID number, name, date, and time of entry and exit. · Conduct vehicle inspections for all vehicles entering and exiting the site. · Perform searches of personal bags, backpacks, and lunch containers when personnel are exiting the site, as required. · Conduct routine and random roving patrols of the site during construction and non-construction hours using company-issued vehicles or ATVs. · Respond promptly to requests to open or secure access points throughout the site. · Issue temporary badges and assist personnel with access-related issues. · Monitor site activity and report suspicious behavior, safety concerns, or policy violations. · Maintain constant communication via mobile phone as part of the Site Emergency Response Plan. · Operate body-worn cameras in accordance with company policy and client requirements. · Wear and maintain a professional, matching uniform that clearly identifies the individual as security personnel. · Work collaboratively with Site Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Project Management to ensure effective security operations. Requirements Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Ability to operate vehicles and ATVs safely. Ability to perform inspections and searches as required. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work extended shifts, rotating schedules, nights, weekends, and holidays. PMIO3
