Overview The Security Specialist will collaborate with the Japan and Global Security Teams to manage mid-level, high-volume security operations. This role is pivotal in enhancing and standardizing incident response and audit programs across test centers in Japan and internationally. The security specialist will coordinate secret shop activities, conduct DVR audits, and support forensic reviews to identify anomalies in testing outcomes. The position also serves as a liaison between the Security Team and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities DVR Monitoring & Audits: Conduct routine DVR (Digital Video Recording) checks and audits to ensure compliance with security protocols and identify irregularities. Secret Shop Coordination: Schedule, score, and report on global secret shop visits; manage logistics and grading processes. Investigations: Support the Security Manager in conducting investigations, compiling evidence, and drafting incident reports. Forensic Review & Analysis: Perform weekly DVR reviews following forensic analysis to detect anomalies in pass rates and escalate findings appropriately. Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare client-facing security summaries and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent audit procedures. Compliance & SLA Support: Assist in meeting client-specific Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contribute to continuous improvement of security operations. Qualifications Japanese language proficiency preferred but not required Prior experience in the security industry, particularly with audits, investigations, and CCTV monitoring, is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during extended video review sessions Experience in compliance, auditing, investigations, or quality assurance is advantageous. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for client-facing reports. Additional Notes This is a full-time position with potential travel and office-based work as needed. The role follows Japan’s testing calendar, which may include weekend and holiday shifts.
