The role: As a Security Specialist, you will work in an international environment where advanced security threats are part of everyday business, alongside complex security landscapes and projects with high business impact. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance of operational processes and activities with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards, especially pertaining to the Polish act on the protection of classified information and industrial security. You will work with the Security Manager to support applicable projects to meet both external and internal corporate security requirements. You will provide expertise alongside operational and administrative support to respond swiftly to potential security incidents. This position is based in the company’s Warsaw office. Domestic travel across Poland, along with occasional international trips may be required. Your main tasks: Classified information handling, including supervision over documentation flow; Ensuring regulatory compliance pertaining to the protection of classified information, including continuously monitoring, reviewing and evaluating applicable laws, regulations, requirements and agreements; Developing, implementing and managing policies and procedures to meet and maintain both internal and external company security standards; Overseeing current and potential site security arrangements from both physical and personnel perspectives as well as planning and carrying out security audits; Supporting risk management including conducting risk assessments to ensure alignment of security strategy with business objectives as well as travel and site security arrangements; Managing insider prevention program. In order to have appropriate skills for this position we believe you have experience from classified information processing and have worked closely towards industrial security. We are looking for candidates with: Several years of experience from working with security related legislations; Proven experience from police, military, public/private security organizations, government authorities or Polish local self-government units; Excellent knowledge of the Polish act on the protection of classified information especially within the defence and security business environment; Solid knowledge of international regulations pertaining to the protection of classified information; Knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, standards and best practices in security; Good business understanding and commercial awareness; Ability to obtain and maintain a Polish Personnel Security Clearance (active clearance preferred); Fluency in Polish and in English (both written and spoken); Valid driving license; Very high moral and ethical standards; High level of discretion and confidentiality; Keen eye on details; Ability to build and maintain strong personal business networks and good relations inside as well as outside your own organization including participation in customer meetings to support projects in Poland; A structured way of working, from planning to execution; Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; Solution-oriented, actionable and a strong problem solver. As a Personnel Security Clearance is required for this role, applicants shall already hold or have the ability to obtain one. Applicants selected will be subject to a security vetting and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including presenting a certificate of clear criminal record obtained from the Polish National Criminal Register.
