Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: COEUR D'ALENE CASINO RESORT & HOTEL - WORLEY, ID Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $22.00 - $26.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Job Category: Admin - Clerical Description SUMMARY: Coordinate and supervise the movements and operations of the Security Officers that are on patrol throughout the shift. Security Supervisor will also patrol, inspect, and secure the property to protect the assets and safety of all entities connected to the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel. As Admin Manager, provides general office support to the Security Department. This includes various clerical activities and related tasks to support managers and supervisors within the department. The Admin Assistant Manager must have strong managerial, communication and multi-tasking skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the Security Operations Manager in supervising the operations of the security staff and the entire security operation including delegating staff assignments. Maintain accurate departmental records, logs, and files. Must allocate shift schedules, rotations, patrols and breaks to Security Staff. Must keep accurate records of staff attendance. Maintain upkeep of the Keywatch and Keypro system, as a Level II Administrator, to include: Cleaning keys, fixing keys, adding/deleting users, distributing access levels to users. Know the evacuation plan and the duties as an Evacuation Director. Uphold and enforce all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel. Report all incidents that occur on shift to Security Operations Manager and Assistant in writing. Maintain order by providing a presence throughout the property. Stay informed of all incidents that occur and take action as appropriate. Maintain knowledge of location and use of all fire and security systems. Perform tape reviews in Surveillance office as necessary. Other projects and duties as assigned. Must be willing to assist with developing training curriculum, creating training manuals, and organizing training. Must be able to identify the training needs of subordinates. Must be willing to become a certified trainer and conduct training for both Officers and Supervisors. Keep Security Officers up to date with any new procedure, requirements or regulations. Must me able to manage a team of Security Officers and support them when deployed to a particular incident or site. Perform all department personnel duties in coordination with HR Manages Paycom file maintenance, job coding and transfer documents Coordinate new hire interviews Schedules personnel training and department onboarding certifications and travels Coordinate department activities, meetings, and training workshops Manages and updates job requisitions, descriptions, Payroll, Ordering and Matrix Tracks time-off/vacation requests for leadership team Tracks employee violations, Subpoena’s, Gaming audits, Insurance Claims, Radio’s, Lost and Found, Uniforms and assists w/Exclusion Committee Coordinate Schedules per management Systems Management Paycom, Patron and Payroll Supervise department uniform plan Inventory Control Assists with special order requisitions and equipment as needed Other duties and projects as assigned by the Security Director Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience: Must be able to obtain a Coeur d’Alene tribal gaming license. Associate’s degree in law enforcement or related field or equivalent work experience in law enforcement or security required. Have a minimum of 1 year within the security department of the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel. Three years previous security or law enforcement experience required; four years preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and provide evidence of a good driving record. Certification in handcuffing, defensive tactics, OC (Pepper Spray), PATH Techniques (Hand Cuffing) preferred or certifications must be obtained within six months of hire date. Previous customer service experience required. One-year previous lead experience required. Previous interviewing and hiring experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. Proficient with Microsoft Office Must have a good work history and good attendance Skills/Knowledge: Must be highly proficient using Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of PowerPoint and Access preferred. Agilysys and Paycom Must be able to type 40 WPM. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality. Must work well in a team environment and be able to guide and coach a team. Must be skilled at managing conflict and influencing outcomes. Must be skilled at multi-tasking. Must have a thorough understanding of the theory of progressive discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Excellent organization and presentation skills required. Strong problem-solving skills required (pre-screened by written test). Must be able to pass a physical fitness test prior to being hired. Excellent customer service skills preferred. Must be able to react calmly under pressure. Must complete training prior to being offered Security Supervisor.
