Responsibilities The Security Supervisor is an Armed Security Officer who assists in the leading and operating of the organization's security and emergency preparedness functions by supervising shifts, maintaining schedules, and Security Office documentation (trespass, sex offender, valuable, outbuilding & master employee logs), conducting counseling sessions, providing training, overseeing daily Security operations, and ensuring proper protocol is being followed. This Officer also provides security by patrolling Baptist St. Anthony’s properties, monitoring video surveillance, inspecting buildings, checking floors for safety, controlling access points, testing alarm equipment, writing detailed and accurate reports, & answering calls for service. Provides excellent customer service by ensuring security and safety to patients, visitors, and staff of Baptist St. Anthony’s properties. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School (or GED equivalent) diploma. Able to obtain a Level III License with the Texas Department of Public Safety. IS 100, 200, 906, 907, 240. B, 19 & 20 FEMA Certifications, Pepper Spray Certification. Must obtain Supervisor IAHSS Certification within 6 months of employment For insurance purposes, must have a clean driving record and be at least 21 years of age. Preferred Job Requirements: Previous law enforcement, military, and/or security experience. One (1) Year of Clerical/Administrative experience. Weapons training in an urban or tactical environment. Advanced IAHSS Certification.
Responsibilities
The Security Supervisor leads security and emergency preparedness functions by supervising shifts, maintaining documentation, and providing staff training. They are also responsible for patrolling properties, monitoring surveillance, and ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff.
