ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Step into a leadership role with Securitas in Barrow.
We are looking for a Security supervisor to support our expanding Days team.
Location: Barrow-in-Furness, UK

Salary: Competitive pay between £17.90 per hour

  • Hours: Working Monday to Friday, average 49.5 hours per week

No SIA Licence? No problem! We provide full SIA training to help you obtain your licence and grow within the security industry.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a Team: Oversee daily operations of 40+ staff members.
    ✔Training: Ensure all personnel complete necessary site training.
    ✔Scheduling: Accurately roster and plan for all reporting officers.
    ✔Customer Relations: Build strong rapport with clients, visitors, and contractors.
    ✔Personnel Management: Monitor and manage the appearance and behaviour of security staff.
    ✔Recognition: Encourage staff recognition and award nominations.
    ✔Documentation: Keep assignment instructions and site documents up to date.
    ✔Incident Reporting: Report all incidents per customer and company policies.
    ✔Best Practices: Assist in developing and sharing best practices to improve service.
    ✔Training Implementation: Plan and implement staff training for routine and emergency procedures.
    ✔Equipment Monitoring: Report faults with security equipment.
    ✔Operational Functions: Be fully conversant with Access Control, CCTV, Detection, and Alarm Systems.
    ✔Support: Assist the Service Delivery Manager with reasonable requests.
