QUALIFICATIONS FOR SECURITY SUPERVISOR

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • This supervisor position is a key step, but certainly not the last.
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in security and team management
  • First aid certification - an asset

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily security operations, ensuring all guards adhere to site-specific SOPs and company policies.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the client and manage communications related to security concerns.
  • Supervise guard team, provide coaching and guidance, and conduct briefings before shifts.
  • Manage all access control, patrol, and screening processes for people, vehicles, and materials.
  • Handle escalations involving security breaches, emergencies, and incidents, and ensure proper reporting and follow-up.
  • Conduct quality checks on guard performance, uniform compliance, and patrol completion.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the site’s emergency procedures and coordinate response efforts during incidents.
  • Liaise with GardaWorld management for staffing, reporting, and procedural updates.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of reports to client’s management and GardaWorld leadership.
  • Ensure all logs, key controls, and documentation are completed accurately and on time
