JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the security operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively. The Security Supervisor will also be involved in training security staff and ensuring security procedures are adhered to.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security industry is essential.
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) technique is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of first aid.
  • Excellent management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential threats or vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Holiday planning for the security team to ensure the site runs efficiently.
  • Scheduling to ensure site is manned fully on a daily basis.
  • Providing payroll information; logging of staff hours and overtime on a monthly basis.
  • Communicating regularly with Centre Management and passing relevant information on to the duty controller and security officers.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect suspicious activities and respond accordingly.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify potential security risks.
  • Provide first aid as needed, ensuring that all staff are trained in emergency response procedures.
  • Prepare reports on incidents, accidents, or security breaches for management review.
  • Train new security staff on both site and emergency procedures.
