JOB SUMMARY

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations of the facility, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all personnel and visitors. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a team effectively, and a comprehensive understanding of security protocols and procedures. The Security Supervisor will be instrumental in implementing loss prevention strategies, conducting surveillance, and responding to incidents as they arise.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the security field or related law enforcement/military background.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, including CCTV operation and monitoring.
• Familiarity with first aid and CPR certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not already held.
• Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Understanding of loss prevention strategies and best practices in a security environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background checks as required by company policy. • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect suspicious activities and respond appropriately.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches.
• Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations effectively.
• Provide training and guidance to security staff on first aid, CPR, and emergency response protocols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on security incidents, investigations, and loss prevention efforts.
• Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions promptly.
