Magpie Security are a family run company operating at the top of its field for 23 years, we are looking to recruit a Part Time Security Supervisor . This is a regular ongoing position working as part of a dedicated and driven Supervisor Team.
The Position will require the candidate to work 2 x 12 hours Day or Night shifts over a weekend and we could add night shifts on weekdays to increase this to a full time position.
The right candidate must have a Valid Driving Licence, ideally will have had previous experience as a Security Officer in a variety of sectors and should be comfortable working night shifts. Candidates should be confident lone workers, any previous experience as a Security Supervisor / Response Driver is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided. Candidates should also be confident using a smartphone and tablet as you will be required to use multiple mobile apps and software.

• Ensure all staff are fully inducted at our clients properties to the site procedures and policies in the assignment instructions so they are able to provide consistent high levels of performance.
• Mentor and motivate security operatives to develop their knowledge and skill set to be able to meet our company standards and service level agreements.
• Develop teamwork within the workforce and encourage high morale through effective motivational methods.
• Understand escalation procedures and departmental functions around the business.
• Be the point of contact for our Security Operatives in the day-to-day operations of security and use your initiative to supervise staff through any issues or engagements as and when they arise.
• Provide customer / client liaison as and when required.
• Carry out regular inspections of our clients’ properties with our onsite security officers to review their performance and identify any training needs, report potential hazards or breaches in health and safety policy’s and identify any security vulnerabilities.
• Conduct welfare checks when required.
• Ensure all staff wear the correct uniform at all times.
• Ensuring security logs are clearly written, being kept up to date and detailed.
• Ensure all security officers are compliant with all relevant legislation on data protection.
• Ensure all Assignment Instructions and Company Policies are adhered to at all times.
• Complete all necessary paperwork.
• Assist our Response Team when required.
• Cover lateness or sickness when required.
  Candidates will need a checkable work history, for the previous five years, and you must be fluent in written and spoken English.
