Company Description Escape to Ras Al Khaimah for beach, desert, and mountain adventures. The northernmost emirate of the UAE, Ras Al Khaimah enjoys a more tranquil rhythm, yet is only 45 minutes from Dubai. Anantara Mina Ras Al Khaimah Resort offers overwater luxury on the Arabian Gulf in a pristine eco-sanctuary. Nature lovers will relish the open terrain of Ras Al Khaimah. From balmy waters to golden shorelines to rugged desert, adventure abounds. Charter a yacht and sail off into the sunset. Ride across rolling dunes and conquer the mountain peak of Jebel Jais. Job Description Responsibilities: Oversee and manage on-duty security personnel, ensuring high performance standards and adherence to hotel policies. Maintain a balance between effective security measures and unobtrusive service, promoting a 'gentleman' rather than 'officer' image. Ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and hotel property. Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the hotel premises, including checks on security equipment and systems. Lead investigations into security-related incidents, prepare reports, and take appropriate action. Train and mentor new security officers, including regular updates to standard operating procedures. Maintain discipline within the security team and address any misconduct or performance issues. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall guest experience and hotel operations. Participate in special functions or operations for VVIPs and high-profile events. Keep management informed of all security matters affecting the hotel. Attend and contribute to departmental meetings and training sessions. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. One to two years of customer-facing experience, preferably in a hospitality or upscale hotel environment. Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred. Knowledge of security protocols, legal guidelines, and reporting standards. Strong observational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain discreet and maintain confidentiality. Positive, professional, and approachable demeanor. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods, respond quickly to incidents, and perform duties that include bending, climbing, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Must be fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages preferred. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
