Employment Opportunity: Site Security Supervisor (Full-Time positions)   United Security Services, Inc., a national security company, which is owned and operated by retired law enforcement personnel, is seeking professional full-time officers for a hotel in Portland, Oregon.    The ideal candidate will be well-versed in security standard operating procedures and safety protocols under the role's responsibility and will be purposeful and focused. Requirements: * 4 years of certified security experience. * Must have an Oregon DPSST unarmed security license. * Excellent communication (verbal and written) and people skills and strong organizational skills. * Proficient in interacting, communicating, and working with people. * Be an ambassador for the client and greet employees, guests, and customers. * Effective in a premium hospitality setting.  * Establish relationships with customers by visiting key contacts on a regular basis to ensure the highest quality of service. * Strives constantly to promote the safety and well-being of the employees, clients, and guests. * CPR certification. * Availability and flexibility to work any day, including weekends and holidays, and any work shift based on the operational needs of the client. * Able to stand and walk for 8 hours.  * Must be able to work independently or with a partner. * Capable of lifting and carrying reasonable weight. Responsibilities:   * Patrol all areas of the buildings (door checks/stairwells) and exterior (parking garages/building perimeters).  * Check in guests. * Respond to incidents on-site, including moving along/trespassing transients.  * Fire extinguisher/Safety Equipment Inspections. * Respond to emergencies and alarms. * Emergency response (First responder – Medical response). * Will be expected to obtain an Alcohol Monitoring License  Preferred: * Experienced with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn security software applications. * Experience with guard touring systems (RFID, Tours, Tasks, Reports, notifications). * Knowledgeable in all aspects of hotel security including handling primary security tasks, responding to emergencies, preparing incident reports, reviewing CCTV footage, etc. $24.50 (90 probation) per hour, then $25.00 per hour.
