Job Description Purpose and Scope: The Security Supervisor will oversee facility security to protect all company assets. The Security Supervisor may also manage and/or implement security protocols related to the storage of confidential information and documents. Schedule is Monday - Friday 7am-3pm Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties. Must train new hires. Following post instructions and SOP. Ability to work in all-weather elements. Promoting safety by being alert to observe, correct and report any hazards. Maintain visibility to ensure safety and deter unacceptable activities. Stay at your post until your replacement has arrived. Must have experience in scheduling and answering phone calls. Conducts regular walk-throughs and security inspections for assigned facilities. Where government projects are involved, serves as a liaison to government agencies concerning project security; assists with security clearance processing for employees working on government classified programs. Present oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct Requirements Required PPE: Safety Vest Safety Shoes Packet Gloves Security Gear Warm Clothing for cold and winter seasons Skills / Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures. Excellent management and supervisory skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures. Ability to work with confidential and classified information. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Job Competency / Qualifications Education/ Training: High school Diploma, GED or equivalent (Preferred) Security Training Technical Requirements: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to learn the layout of the property and buildings. Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly.
