Job Details Job Location: TX-CPC Social Services Center - Dallas, TX 75235 Position Type: Full Time Regular Education Level: High School Diploma/GED Job Category: Property Schedule/Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM This position is responsible for: Provides daily supervision, monitoring, reporting, and technical support services to clients in a residential substance abuse treatment setting; maintains appropriate records in addition to ongoing written and verbal communication with clinical and other professional staff in relationship to daily client activities; facilitates an emotional and physical environment conducive to enhancing positive client morale and stabilization; provides support for the protection, safety, and security of clients, visitors, personnel, assets. Key Responsibilities: Performs security patrols, protects property from theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire and accidents. Administers breathalyzer tests and urinalysis tests to program clients; administers sexual offender checks as needed. Monitors daily facility activities; ensures the safety, cleanliness, and orderliness of program environment; ensures clients maintain appropriate attire and personal hygiene; observes clients and visitors for safety, health and risk potentials. Monitors facility egress and ingress of clients to include the examination of all personal belongings either brought in by, or brought to, the client; monitors visitors during visitation. Monitors client behavior, attitude and social interaction with peers and staff. Performs diagnostic Breathalyzer testing and collects samples for urinalysis. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly while maintaining control and initiating the proper corrective action. Ability to drive a vehicle safely and in accordance with all laws and regulations. Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.
