JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security systems and technology, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in computer networking, mechanical knowledge, and hands-on experience with various security systems. The Security Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities through effective surveillance and alarm systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking principles.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to the installation of various security systems.
  • Experience as a service technician in the field of security or telecommunications.
  • Familiarity with fire alarm systems, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and surveillance technologies.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
  • Experience with locksmithing techniques is a plus.
  • Understanding of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards as they apply to low voltage installations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in construction or technical environments.
