SERVICE ENGINEER - SECURITY SYSTEMS (CCTV, INTRUDER ALARM, ACCESS CONTROL)

Location: North London
Salary: Competitive in Industry + Uncapped Engineer commission scheme
Trinity are hiring a Service Engineer to join our dedicated team in North London. In the role, you will be providing maintenance and servicing of our clients Security systems.
Working in North London, you will have the opportunity to obtain industry leading training and earn through our engineering commission scheme!

WHAT SKILLS DO YOU NEED?

  • Experience in servicing and maintaining security systems to relevant British Standards.
  • Ability to identify all types of cable associated with security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions.
  • A logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification.
  • To always provide outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

WHAT TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE DO YOU NEED?

  • Understand the basic building services to test cause and effect of security system interfaces.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of security system problems, including an ability to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms as well as recommending changes to the systems.
  • Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
Responsibilities

You will be working as part of a skilled team of Service Engineer’s and will be supported by our wider support departments to provide high quality service and customer experience.

The key tasks include the following:

  • Carry out all other necessary works required at customer premises in accordance with the Company’s quality standards.
  • Effectively communicate with customers to ensure a good understanding of system and site status.
  • Liaise with service administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our service commitments are met.
  • Work to a planned service and maintenance schedule, emergency call out requirements. Issue remedial repairs and minor additions to existing installations in line with service administration guidance.
