JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the pre-sales design of new systems. Must understand various components and integration points and design software. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving advanced technical problems. This role requires a deep understanding of network security principles, incident response strategies, and compliance with industry standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Familiar with Physical Security System equipment (Intrusion Detection Systems, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Video Intercom, Card Access).
  • Experience in the Security industry.
  • Ability to prepare and tailor project-specific proposals from RFP documents.
  • Ability to transition successful bids from estimating to operations.
  • Highly motivated and focused with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while handling and meeting multiple deadlines
  • Understanding of Networking fundamentals. (Subnetting, VLAN, VPN, Routers, Firewalls, etc)
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with clients via email, telephone and in person.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $56,160.00 - $62,400.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Estimate project costs and develop scope of work as well as perform site visits and walk-throughs when necessary.
  • Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing and scheduling work.
  • In conjunction with preparing bids, select vendors and subcontractors who will maximize cost efficiency and project performance.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements through a thorough understanding of project scope and specifications.
  • Prepare, revise and update project schedules and job budgets.
  • Manage in-process jobs and overall project management.
  • Work directly with contractors and vendors to make certain that submittals are in order.
  • Organize the final bid review, ensure all bid requirements and forms are completed and closed out.
  • Prepare submittals, RFIs and coordinate document control.
  • Create quotes within the D-Tools system. Knowledge of Bluebeam and Visio a Plus.
