Location: Northampton (with regular travel to Head Office in Burton on Trent and client sites)
Salary: £44,000 per annum + additional bonus structure
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexibility required for additional hours, including occasional weekends)

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee the operational performance of our UK security services, including Temporary CCTV, Construction Site Security, Access Control, and Monitoring/Response services. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Operational Excellence – Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security systems, ensuring service delivery meets high standards.
  • Client Engagement & Business Development – Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their security needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Team Leadership – Recruit, train, and manage a team of security professionals, ensuring continuous improvement and motivation.
  • Performance Management – Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure all security operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and health & safety standards.
  • Innovation & Efficiency – Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and the integration of new security technologies.
  • Incident Management & Investigation – Lead and support investigations into security breaches, incidents, and system failures.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in security operations management with a strong understanding of security technologies (CCTV, access control, monitoring systems).
  • Strong operational management skills in a multi-site or area management role.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication abilities.
  • A solid understanding of security technology (CCTV, access control, monitoring systems).
  • Knowledge of security regulations and best practices.
  • Health & safety experience within a security or construction environment.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
  • A full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Experience in investigations (preferred).
  • Familiarity with the construction sector (preferred)
