Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Security Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of security systems in accordance with NSI codes of practice, following specifications issued by the Operations Director or Project Manager.

SPECIFICALLY, YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Assisting with the installation of intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Commissioning enterprise-level security systems (e.g., CEM, Gallagher, Lenel).
  • Sharing knowledge to help develop engineers.
  • Building strong client relationships.
  • Supporting adi F&S in meeting completion dates and maintenance deadlines.
  • Adhering to health and safety policies.
  • Managing day-to-day engineering activities.
  • Assisting in preparing technical designs for quotations.
  • Developing client relationships and exploring upselling opportunities.
  • Managing project work and providing feedback on project management.
  • Maintaining timing plans.
  • Ensuring project completion meets customer requirements.
  • Compiling project documentation to NSI standards.
  • Conducting installations with subcontractors and direct labor.
