Responsibilities

OCS is currently looking for a Security Systems Technical Support Engineer, you’ll take various on-site activities to ensure the smooth implementation, configuration, and support of our network infrastructure. From CCTV and video monitoring systems to access controls and IP devices, you’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding sites and enhancing security systems.

Security Systems Technician Support Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Support installations, configuration, testing, and commissioning of security technologies like CCTV, door access, and intercom systems
  • System Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform in-depth diagnostics, manage repairs, and update configurations to keep systems at peak performance
  • Maintain accurate logs of equipment configurations, software updates, and service adjustments, ensuring clients are informed and systems remain up-to-date
  • Offering training and guidance to engineers, and setting high standards for service excellence
  • Represent our company professionally with clients on-site, addressing product questions and providing top-notch customer support
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss insights, share knowledge, and propose enhancements to on-site operations

The ideal Security Systems Technician will have/be:

  • 5+ years in a similar engineering role, with proficiency in NVR systems like Milestone , Aviglion , Dallmeier , Hanwha and Lenel
  • Hands-on experience with data and fibre cable installation
  • A solid understanding of analogue systems, fault-finding capabilities, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
  • Willingness to travel across the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence
