GardaWorld is seeking a confident and experienced Security Team Lead to oversee and support daily security operations within our health care site. This key leadership role is responsible for guiding a team of security professionals, ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, calm, and professional approach to managing safety and emergency response procedures, while supporting hospital staff in providing high-quality patient care.
Schedule : Continental, Rotational (Two weeks days, two weeks nights)
07:00-19:00 (days rotation) / 19:00-07:00 (nights rotation)

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SECURITY TEAM LEAD

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a security role (healthcare or hospital setting preferred).
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity is a strong asset
  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a valid security license
  • First aid certification required
  • Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time and team resources effectively.
  • Familiarity with hospital environments, emergency codes, and patient interaction protocols is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, support, and coordinate the activities of the hospital security team on assigned shifts.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for security-related matters within the hospital.
  • Monitor and enforce hospital security policies and procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance promptly and effectively.
  • Support patient watch and behavioral health safety protocols as needed.
  • Conduct regular patrols, inspections, and incident reporting.
  • Liaise with hospital staff, management, and external emergency services when required.
  • Train and mentor new security personnel and ensure ongoing adherence to protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records, shift reports, and incident documentation.
