This is a full-time, permanent onsite role based at our Bradford, B12 site, offering 42.5 hours per week and a competitive hourly rate of £14.75. As Security Team Manager, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things security — the trusted advisor for both staff and leadership. With your keen eye for detail and strong leadership, you’ll take charge of our on-site security officers, ensure rapid responses to any incidents, and drive the implementation of smart, effective security strategies.

  • Proven experience in a security role — you know the industry and what it takes to keep people and property safe
  • Strong leadership skills, with previous experience supervising and motivating a team within a security environment
  • Proactive and adaptable — you stay calm under pressure, respond swiftly to changing priorities, and always stay one step ahead
  • Solid understanding of health & safety principles and how to apply them in a fast-paced workplace
  • A true team player and collaborator, able to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Responsibilities
  • Take the lead on managing security staffing and rotas, ensuring full site coverage at all times. You’ll act fast to cover absences and coordinate agency support when needed
  • Keep performance on point by monitoring key metrics to drive improvements across individuals, the team, systems, and the site as a whole
  • Play a hands-on role in supporting investigations — from conducting staff interviews and reviewing CCTV to writing clear, accurate reports that get to the heart of the matter
  • Oversee and enforce search procedures for staff and vehicles. You’ll train the team, ensure full compliance with company policy, and confidently challenge any non-compliance or operational gaps
  • Be a key voice on site — engage regularly with local operations and stakeholders, leading meetings with the site team to stay up to speed on developments and operational changes
