The Security Services Group (SSG) is a specialist business unit delivering high-assurance security solutions across the MOD and wider Government Estate. With over 260 highly skilled experts based in the UK, Germany, Cyprus, and Gibraltar, SSG designs, installs, and maintains advanced security systems to protect Defence operations, national security assets, and critical government infrastructure. This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for motivated and passionate professionals to join as a Security Technician in the SSG’s Central Team.
You will have the chance to work on a variety of technically sophisticated projects protecting UK Defence and Government sites. You will be tasked from home and for most of the time you will be working in the field travelling between various government and military sites. We will provide you with the choice of a non-liveried company vehicle to work in your region and you can opt in to use this for personal use.
We require professional individuals to serve SSG customers on a wide range of security systems including Intruder Alarm (IAS), External & Perimeter Intruder Detection, Video Surveillance (VSS), Automatic Access Control (AACS) and Control Room IAS and VSS & AACS Standard Monitoring Systems.
Specific system training will be provided.
