Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electronics field or a related discipline, including at least 1 year of experience servicing alarm systems.
  • Possess a valid Provincial Driver’s License
  • Experience and technical knowledge of security products and standards/codes

Responsibilities:

ROLE SUMMARY:

Chubb is currently recruiting a Security Technician based out of our Moncton branch office. The main duties of this role are to carry out installations and service functions on intrusion alarm systems, access control and camera systems. Overtime, on-call and shift premium work as needed.
Job Description

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and monitor installation work with our team of technicians and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate small scale projects using available resources.
  • Project approximate installation completion dates and assign dates in appropriate systems.
  • Make sure that installation work is done and closed on time.
  • Email or telephone correspondence with clients to ensure that requests are noted and / or planned according to their needs.
  • Issue and track purchase orders.
  • Find resources or approved materials for installation projects.
  • Create and manage shipments to technicians at remote sites, ie, Purolator packages.
  • Ensure the administrative follow-up of purchase orders, invoices and all related administrative tasks.
  • Various other customer service and support tasks by phone or email
