The Role

By joining us as a Security Technician you will be required to work Monday to Friday although the opportunity for some weekend and after-hours work may be available on an Ad-Hoc basis. 

Responsibilities include:  

• Ability to communicate with other trades and head contractor with site planning/issues.
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance
• Working in a Trade / Construction setting and following Industry benchmark WHS requirements.
• Supervision of apprentices
• Fault diagnostic, Installation Testing and Commissioning.
• Reporting of work carried out in our digital Job management system  

The successful applicant will have the following attributes: 

• Good time management skills, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks  
• Competent person with excellent people skills and a clean and tidy presentation 
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
• Attention to detail, problem solving and sound judgment
• Self-motivated and organised 
• Ability to use app-based programs 

Minimum requirements: 

• A current car driver's license
• White card 
• Willing to have a police check
• Willing to obtain a working with Vulnerable people card 

Desirable: 

• Electrical Practitioners Licence
• Communication Cabling Licence
• Experience in Commercial Installations would be an advantage. 
• Includes Systems such as - Tecom, Bosch, Galagher, Inner Range etc.
