iDetect is expanding our high-performing team and seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Security Technician on the Gold Coast. If you are driven by precision and committed to delivering flawless, high-quality installations across complex commercial and industrial environments.

🚧 About the Role

This is a hands-on field role focused on the installation and commissioning of security systems across commercial and industrial sites throughout South East Queensland. You must be comfortable working autonomously and meeting project deadlines.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Expertly install, program, and commission a variety of modern security systems.
• Maintain a professional, clean job site and ensure clear, proactive client communication.
• Efficiently manage and execute projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.

✅ What You Bring

• A current and valid QLD Security Licence (Essential).
• Proven experience with a range of Access Control, Alarm and CCTV brands including Integriti, Dahua, Hikvision, Axis, Ajax etc
• A solid understanding of IP networking
• Current Open Cabling Licence.
• White Card, manual driver's licence.

Desirable: 

• Experience with Optical Fibre.
• EWP ticket.
