About the Company

We are a Canberra-based electronic security and communications company, delivering professional solutions across CCTV, alarms, and structured cabling systems. We are looking for a skilled and motivated technician to join our growing team on a long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service electronic security systems, including:
  • CCTV surveillance systems
  • Alarm systems
  • Access control systems (preferred but not mandatory)
• Conduct fault-finding, repairs, and system testing.
• Install and certify structured cabling (Cat 5e, Cat 6/6A), intercoms, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, building plans, and technical documents.
• Deliver system demonstrations and support to clients.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with Work Health & Safety regulations.

Skills & Attributes

• Minimum 2 years' experience in the security or electronics industry.
• Hands-on experience with brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Bosch, Paradox, or Inner Range.
• Strong understanding of electronic systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Open Cabler Registration with structured cabling endorsement (mandatory)
• White Card (mandatory)
• Security Installer Licence (ACT) or willingness to obtain
• Driver’s Licence (manual or automatic)
• Must be eligible to work in Australia:
  • Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents
  • Or candidates eligible for 482 visa sponsorship
