Job Description for Azure Cloud Security Engineer: Security Implementation: Configure network security (NSGs, Firewalls), encryption (Key Vault), and data loss prevention (DLP). Identity & Access Management (IAM): Manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and privileged identity management. Threat Detection & Response: Utilize Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel to monitor, detect, and remediate threats. Compliance & Governance: Enforce security policies and compliance with standards such as CIS, ISO, or PCI DSS. Automation: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates, PowerShell, or Python to automate security tasks and configurations. Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM): Perform vulnerability scanning, threat modelling, and risk assessments.  Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Azure security services (Defender, Key Vault, Sentinel, NSGs) and networking.

Responsibilities

The role involves implementing and managing Azure cloud security, including network security, identity management, and threat detection. The specialist will also ensure compliance with security standards and automate security tasks using IaC and scripting.
