Description
Centrus Energy/ACO is seeking a dedicated and engaging Security Trainer to serve as the primary developer and facilitator of security-based training topics. In this critical role, you will design, update, and deliver comprehensive in-person and remote training, including Classified Matter Protection and Control (CMPC), Insider Threat Programs, and Annual Security Refreshers. Leveraging your expertise, you will ensure all security personnel are equipped with the knowledge needed to maintain compliance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Department of Energy (DOE) safeguards.  Impact You will Have: * Develop and update comprehensive lesson plans, PowerPoint presentations, and hands-on practical exercises based on company needs and evolving regulatory requirements. * Administer engaging in-person and video-based training sessions on topics including Access Control, Classification, Protective Personnel Operations, and Lock and Key Control. * Maintain impeccable, auditable training records in compliance with RMDC requirements and prepare for/support Federal inspections. * Achieve and maintain qualification as a Derivative Classifier (DC) and Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information Reviewer Official (UCNI-RO). * Assist with the development, review, and approval of internal security procedures and documentation. * Provide ongoing guidance to security staff, staying current with NRC/DOE industry standards.  What You will Bring: * Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. * 3+ years proven experience in developing and conducting training (security-related experience preferred). * Exceptional public speaking skills with the ability to convey complex security regulations in a clear, concise manner. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to create, maintain, and present training materials. *  Must be able to obtain and maintain a “Q” Clearance. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
