Spectrum Justice Services is seeking dedicated individuals to join our security team in Highland Park, MI. As a Security Transporter, you are the front line of safety, ensuring secure movement and a stable environment for youth ages 12 to 20 within our high-security residential treatment facility. Your Impact: Safety & Security in Action In this role, your primary mission is to protect our youth, staff, and community. You will be responsible for: * Secure Transportation: Managing the safe travel and transportation of youth participants. * Vigilant Monitoring: Overseeing outdoor recreation areas and tracking both authorized and unauthorized visitors. * Rapid Response: Acting as a first responder to any crisis situations occurring on or off facility grounds. * Operational Oversight: Ensuring building fire safety and monitoring staff access and daily program operations.   Our Approach Since 1976, Spectrum has been committed to the dignity and respect of every individual. Qualifications & Characteristics * Education: High school diploma. * Age: Must be 21 or older. * Licensure: Valid and unrestricted Michigan driver’s license. * Compliance: Ability to pass a physical exam, TB test, and drug screening. * Clearances: Must obtain DHHS Central Registry, Criminal Background, and National Sex Offender Registry clearances. * Availability: Full-time and part-time positions available; we have shifts for afternoons, nights, and weekends.
