MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University or college degree
  • Proven sales record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota with at least 2 years of experience selling software
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, and remote sales processes
  • Team-first mentality, driven by results with a relentless work ethic and ambition to achieve success

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have a strong all-around knowledge of the cybersecurity market and channel
  • You have direct touch sales experience and the ability to scale through distribution and partners
  • You have excellent social, communication, and presentation skills with experience presenting to technical as well as business stakeholders
  • You have experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to improve corporate revenue growthYou are passionate, resourceful and take accountability for your business with a strong attention to detail and pride for your work.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying a quota and territory that maps to a Cisco generalist territory
  • Providing support for and building relationships with Cisco counterparts (Account Managers, Sales Engineers, Regional Managers, etc.)
  • Engaging with prospects that are generated by various lead-generation methods and overcoming objections from prospective customers
  • Identifying decision-makers within targeted accounts to begin the sales process
  • Demonstrating and presenting our security solutions via live web-based demos and in-person presentations
  • Building pipeline through individual prospecting & sales development collaboration
  • As necessary, traveling for prospect meetings and supporting marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports
  • Attend periodic sales training where applicable
  • Properly document and track all prospect & customer information inSalesforce.co
